About Me

Ever since I had my first camera, I had a passion for videography and video editing. Taking a variety of design & production courses within the ATEC program at The University of Texas at Dallas helped revive that passion and inspire me to progress with each video. As a thank you to the school, I decided to create a video that features the university, while exhibiting the skills and knowledge that I have learned here. 

My film explores ways that a college campus can be visually showcased. I think of my work as expressing my appreciation for the beauty within our campus while displaying the significant architectural and physical features that make up the University of Texas at Dallas. A theme within my work is to capture the beauty and aesthetic within what might seem ordinary. My goal within this film is to give viewers a positive perception of the campus, whether they see it frequently or have never seen it before. This is an attempt to address things that are often overlooked by targeting our desires for attraction and appeal. A variety of video filming techniques and strategic editing is implemented within my work to exhibit my unique vision, as well as my eye for seeing the beauty in the underappreciated.
